Fall Part II and March Weather

It seems Western North Carolina experiences a second fall, at least color-wise. The maples bud out red and then turn orange. There are also some yellows and purples, so in some places up in the hills, it looks right fallish. Strange, but pretty. Some trees are turning green as well, but many still have bare limbs.

It has still been cool around here. The average high was 58°, the average low, 39°. The high for the month was 79° on March 22, the low was 24° on March 12. It rained 10.2 inches this month, with the most being 2.6 on the 26th. It also snowed one day. All in all a wet month with precipitation on 12 different days.

We are thankful it is warming up, though today, the high was only 42°. We are looking forward to our Texas visit the beginning of May, and we hope everyone is doing well.
