Dad and Barbara’s Visit Part II

Dad and Barbara got off this morning about 8:30.

Yesterday we went to town and toured the Cherokee County Historical Museum. There were lots of artifacts from days gone by and an account of the removal of the Cherokee Indians and the Trail of Tears in the 19th century. We also walked over to the courthouse and walked through that.

Last night we went to eat at a Mexican food place that Dana and I haven’t tried yet. It was far better than the other one in town that we have tried. We also rented a movie last night—Soul Surfer—and enjoyed that. It was good to see them; we wish it wasn’t so far away or so long between visits.

And now it is time to get ready for the start of school. Jenna and I start on Tuesday!
