Following our North Carolina tradition, we went to the Grays for Thanksgiving. This is always a large gathering with at least one other family from church plus various other Gray children in from college and their friends. Last year there were three foreign students: girls from Lebanon, China, and Texas. This year, two: from Jamaica and Scotland.
Besides the good food, we learned a new basketball game called knock-out (and even Rebekah got in on some basketball action), played sequence, watched a little (very little) football, and enjoyed the afternoon thoroughly.
The Grays also have a tradition of a Thanksgiving book. Everyone who comes over for Thanksgiving writes/draws/colors a page about what they are thankful for.
Fun day with good friends even though we missed our family back in Texas.
During our reading time at night the girls are usually knitting while I read. Jenna has been working on a scarf for quite some time and finally finished it tonight.
We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
