Waterfall Tour

Dana and I spent a few days in Brevard, NC in Transylvania County, which is known for its many waterfalls. We went hiking in the Pisgah National Forest and DuPont State Forest to see a few.

In the Pisgah National Forest:

Moore Cove Falls

Looking Glass Falls

While not technically a waterfall, Sliding Rock is a rather popular tourist attraction because you can actually slide down the rock into a pool at the bottom.

And then in the Dupont State Forest:

Hooker Falls

Triple Falls

And High Falls

If you’re ever in Brevard, we would also recommend a few good places to eat:

Bracken Mountain Bakery has way too many good choices for breakfast.

Rocky’s is an old fashioned burger and soda shop.

And Magpies Meat and Three is a great place for dinner.

We, however, did not see one of Brevard’s white squirrels—besides this one.
